Visual Arts

The Morningside University School of Visual and Performing Arts is an integral part of our foundation and community. Vocal, visual, and instrumental arts are traditions Morningside has upheld since the school’s founding. All students are welcome to participate in the visual arts at Morningside, regardless of major. From graphic design and photography to studio arts and opportunities to present and attend exhibitions at the on-campus gallery, exploring the visual arts at Morningside can enhance your college experience and give you a new perspective on art in your personal and professional life.

Art For All

Students from all major academic disciplines can exhibit their photography, studio artwork, and graphic design artwork in our nationally-awarded annual literary and art magazine Kiosk as well as in student art exhibitions in Eppley Art Gallery and other campus locations including the HJF Learning Center.

Explore Our Exhibits

Morningside University is home to two galleries, both located in the Eugene C. Eppley Fine Arts Building. The Eppley Art Gallery regularly features exhibitions by guest artists, students, and faculty. The Helen Levitt Art Gallery houses the million-dollar Levitt art collection which includes works by international artists.
