*Students with a 3.0 or higher after their first academic year at Morningside are also eligible to receive a $1,000 stipend to be applied for Morningside experiential travel or research.

Academic Scholarships are awarded to full-time, first-time undergraduate students who meet certain minimum GPA criteria. 

  **Academic awards will be reduced by $3,000 for students who choose to live off-campus prior to earning 91 or more credit hours.   

 

ACT/SAT Incentive Scholarship

Student who choose to take the ACT or SAT and have their scores submitted to Morningside may qualify for an additional scholarship that can be combined with other scholarships and awards.

Talent Grants

Receive up to $5,000 per year ($20,000 over four years) for participating in an activity you love. Areas include art, athletics, esports, theatre, choral music, instrumental music, color guard, jazz, or keyboard. You can only earn one talent grant, you must continue your participation in the activity, and you will need to visit campus to audition or meet coaches in order to qualify. To be considered, simply let us know about your talent when you speak to an admission counselor or on your application. If you receive a Talent Grant, you are not eligible for a Monte Grant.

Monte Grant

If you aren't an athlete, musician, artist, or gamer, but plan on being active in other ways, taking on leadership roles, or volunteering at Morningside, then the Monte Grant may be for you. Receive up to $4,000 per year ($16,000 over four years). Talk with your Admissions Counselor to see if you qualify. If you receive a Monte Grant, you are not eligible for a Talent Grant.


Visit Grants

Campus visits are important. We believe that so sincerely that we will give you $1,000 per year for up to four years when you enroll at Morningside if you make an official campus visit. Visits must be complete by a specific date. Ask your Admission Counselor for details.

FAFSA Submission Grant

Students who submit their FAFSA information to Morningside by Feb. 28 each year will receive $1,000 every year they are at Morningside.


Other Financial Aid & Scholarships

In addition to these funds offered by Morningside, you should also complete the FAFSA to get a complete understanding of the state and federal benefits for which you may be eligible. You are also encouraged to apply for private scholarships that may be available through your high school or other resources.

*Students who move off campus prior to earning 91 or more credit hours may have their Trustee Scholarship, Presidential Scholarship, Dean Scholarship, Founder Scholarship, Morningside Grant, Achievement Award, Monte Award, Federal Pell Enhancement Grant, Federal SEOG, Work Study, Sherman Loan, and/or McElroy Loan Awards reduced by up to half of the room and board allowance.
