How do I get to Morningside?

We’re located at 1501 Morningside Avenue, Sioux City, IA, 51106. That's right off of I-29 in Sioux City, IA—just 90 miles north of Omaha and 75 miles south of Sioux Falls.

Directions to Morningside

  1. Follow I-29, move to the right lane, and take exit 147B: Business Hwy 20/Gordon Drive
  2. At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Busn. 20 East/Gordon Drive.
  3. Follow Busn. 20 East/Gordon Drive through 2 stoplights and cross the viaduct.
  4. At the end of the viaduct, exit right on S. Lewis Blvd.
  5. Follow Lewis Blvd. south to the Transit Ave. exit.
  6. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the stoplight. Go under the bridge and turn
  7. right at the stoplight onto Transit Ave. Stay on this road for just over a mile until you reach the 2nd stoplight.
  8. Turn left onto Morningside Ave.
  9. Follow Morningside Ave. to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).
  10. Turn left on Peters Ave. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
  1. Follow Business Hwy 20 into Sioux City. You will pass K-Mart and Menard’s; merge into left lane. Follow Busn. 20/Gordon Drive until you reach the 4th stoplight, at which you will turn left onto Stone Ave. (Burger King will be on the right-hand side.)
  2. Follow Stone Ave. approx. 6 blocks until you reach the first stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign onto Morningside Ave.
  3. You will continue on Morningside Ave. for approx. 3 blocks until you reach the 2nd
  4. stoplight.
  5. Turn right at the second stoplight on Peters Ave. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
  1. Follow I-29 and take exit 144A: Highway 20 - East Fort Dodge Exit.
  2. Follow Hwy 20 until you see the 1st exit, Lakeport Road. Take this exit.
  3. At the stoplight, turn left onto South Lakeport Road.
  4. Stay on South Lakeport Road for approx. 2 miles, through 7 stoplights. At the 8th stoplight, turn left on Morningside Ave.
  5. Go approx. 5 blocks. You will want to merge into the right lane. Just past McDonalds, Morningside Ave. turns to the right. Follow Morningside Ave. to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).
  6. Turn left on Peters Ave. You will then see the campus entrance to your left.
  1. Follow Highway 20 into Iowa to exit 1: Lakeport Road. Take this exit.
  2. At the stoplight, turn left on South Lakeport Road.
  3. Stay on South Lakeport Road for approx. 2 miles, through 7 stoplights. At the 8th stoplight, turn left onto Morningside Ave.
  4. Go approx. 5 blocks. You will want to merge into the right lane. Just past McDonalds, Morningside Ave. turns to the right. Follow Morningside Ave. to the second stoplight (approx. 3 blocks).

  1. Exit at the airport and get on I-29 North at exit 141.
  2. Follow I-29 and take exit 144A: Highway 20 - East Fort Dodge Exit.
